Biography

Marie-Solange Ladenius was born in Rome and grew up in Italy, Belgium and Switzerland. She studied languages at the University of Florence, and after a period of study in Cambridge, Massachusetts, moved to the US and began her work as an illustrator, initially for the Harvard Business Review.

Since that time, Marie-Solange has worked in various mediums, including jewelry design and interiors, eventually returning to pen and ink and watercolours. She has lived and worked in Boston, New York and London, and holds Dutch and US passports. For the past 13 years, she and her husband have lived in Lugano, Switzerland.
